"Didn't we have a lurverly day the day we went to Bangor?" Well, not quite Bangor, but we're off to sunny (hopefully) North Wales for the final stage on the Rally of the Tests on Sunday 23rd November. We shall be running the start & finish controls at the Great Orme, Llandudno, just half a mile from the finish of the rally. This is one of the UK's best Classic Rallies, with a superb range of cars taking part. More background info & video clips at www.classicrally.org.uk/rott2008/index.html Set up before lunch, then first car 14:00 (ish), last car around 16:30. Want to give us a hand? And a great time was had by all...... ;D David Mitchell was commander (I've always thought that Range Rover drivers had the appearance of commanding a ship, so now we know it's true!) and despite the organisers best efforts, the tests around the Great Orme ran extremely well. The camaraderie was superb, some of the crews were trying, & some were REALLY trying! ;D Great cars, great venue despite the sea spray and the strong extremely cold on-shore breeze. Quite bracing! We must do it again some time! ;D Quote of the day? "WOW - just look at the size of those snow flakes" - aah, actually, that's foam off the sea Geoff ! Doh
