We shall be helping with Knutsford Motor Club's Classic "Tour of Cheshire" that takes place on Saturday 7th March. This well supported event will start from Bolesworth Castle (just off the A41 South of Chester), and we will be running the first test of the day at our old favourite, Chowley Oak Business Park.
The rally will actually spend most of its competitive mileage in Staffordshire before ending back at Booth's Hall, Knutsford in the evening.
Keep an eye on this thread for more info as it becomes available.

I'll be in Canada playing with a v8 super charged Jag, a shame as tour of cheshire could be fun and was quite a nice relaxing event last year!

Shame Vanny. Why on earth are you slumming it in Canada when you could be freezing in the wilds of Cheshire. You just cant get the staff theses days !

I'm told that if the temperature in Canada gets below -50c then we dont go testing, so at least i get to come in if it gets super cold. I have asked my boss if i could have the 7th of March off, but apparently its not practical to send me back from Canada for the day, and on my complaints he pointed out that its in my contract. I can come tour of Cheshire or not have a job, life's not fair!

If you know anyone who is 14, 15, 16 or has not yet obtained their RTA licence and would like to have a go at the PCA, check K&DMC's site for detalils:- www.knutsfordmotorclub.co.uk/Junior_PCA_Regs.doc See also the latest edition of Spin-off that was emailed to members a couple of weeks ago. 78 entries received, so it should be another great TOC. Click here for entries list:- www.tourofcheshire.co.uk/entries_current.html Well we have 2 volunteers so far... I do hope we have some more or we shall look a bit silly. If you are hoping to help marshal our Chowley Oak test on the Tour of Cheshire, please email me ASAP via www.liverpoolmotorclub.com/contact-us/ so that I know how many people are likely to turn up (or phone 0161 969 7137). Signing-on (& setting up) will be from 07.50 to 08.20, test opens 08.26, car zero at 08.55. Final car should be 10.41. Anyone who wishes to stay for the Junior PCA immediately afterwards will be most welcome, though it's by no means compulsory! Chowley Oak is just off the A41 Chester to Whitchurch road, exactly 7 miles (12 mins) from Vicars Cross roundabout. Pass through Milton Green, & ignore the 2 turnings for Handley (nice pub!) then at the crossroads turn right & the test is 200m on the right. Well the Tour of Cheshire breezed through the Chowley Oak special stage but many of the competitors found it very difficult to follow the route - close to one third failing in one way or the other. Once the stage was cleared by the Chase Car the cones were collected and then reset for a Junior Autotest - all the drivers were under 14! There were just 6 competitors but they tackled the two tests 12 times so kept everyone entertained. All this and home before 14:00!
