LMC will be running the stage finish at Weeton Camp on Saturday 21st February, and marshals are required for our sector and for other areas on site too. Early indications are that cars will cover approx 8 miles per stage within the site, and past experience suggests that there'll be plenty going on. This is a non-spectator stage & only authorised personel will be able to gain access once the event is underway. Signing on will be between 8am & 9am Stage will close after last car approx 3.30pm See www.nwstages.co.uk/ for general info about the rally Provisional Entry list is at www.nwstages.co.uk/rally_entry_list.htmlInterested in helping? Please send a message to John Harden via the LMC Contact page:- www.liverpoolmotorclub.com/contact-us/or phone John on 0161 969 7137 (before 10pm please).

More Info. Stockport 061 run the venue, and we have been asked to run the finish for them - 'cos we are good, you see! ;D Message from Ken Wilkinson, Stockport MC Legend Fires North West Stages – Friday/Saturday 20/21 February – www.nwstages.co.uk New, exciting format this year. Friday night stages on the Promenade and Weeton and then all day Saturday. We are back at Weeton again this year, but are only involved with the Saturday stages,(as our friends in Knutsford Motor Club have kindly offered to run the Friday night stages at Weeton, although I’m sure that they would welcome help). As usual, supporting Marie Curie. A good entry is always guaranteed (heading for full already). Nice late start on Saturday – Signing on between 08.00 – 09.00, with stages being run twice, in pairs, with a finish expected by 15.30. You know what to expect with the weather: You have more chance of being hit by a stone from the smooth surface (?) than getting a sun tan. Bring your own food and plenty of warm/wet weather clothing. Don’t forget the “Safety Camera”, yes, of course it is, just off the M55 @ J3. Interested in helping on Saturday? Please send a message to John Harden via the LMC Contact page:- www.liverpoolmotorclub.com/contact-us/or phone John on 0161 969 7137 8pm to 10pm. Although LMC has decided not to assist on the Friday night as a Club, you may still be interested in helping out as an individual. So, if you want to marshal on Friday (at Weeton or Blackpool Prom), I suggest you contact North West Stages Chief Marshal directly at www.nwstages.co.uk/rally_marshals.html

Another post from Mark Carter, Chief Marshal:-The Legend Fires NORTH WEST STAGES Rally will be running on Friday 20th/Sat 21st February. Once again the event will be Based in Blackpool with Rally HQ and Central Service at Pontins Holiday Centre. The event will use 2 venues on Friday evening and 6 venues on Saturday. In total we need over 300 marshals in addition to the many radio/rescue/recovery crews. 4 of these venues will not be open to spectators so only marshals and officials will have access. We have allocated a significant budget to marshals this year, and every marshal that signs on will be given a worthwhile goody bag. Furthermore there will be a marshals draw offering higher value prizes. We are expecting a full entry of 120 cars with a number of WRC's already entered. You can register on the event website www.nwstages.co.ukor e.mail Mark Carter, the Chief Marshal, mark.rallypoints@yahoo.com
