The LeJog (Lands End to John O'Groats) Rally is back in our region again this year and we shall be running the stage (actually it's called a test) at Hoscar, near Skelmersdale. on the morning of December 6th 2009. This well known & highly respected endurance rally for classic cars starts on 5th December at Lands End (yes, really ) and finishes on 8th December at John O'Groats (which despite popular belief, is not actually the northern most point on the British mainland).
LMC will be running the whole test at Hoscar, with the first car due at around 10am and they allow up to 2 hrs for all the cars to pass through.
More details will be advised as soon as received.
Want to give us a hand at this non-spectator venue? Give Jim Bebby a call on 0151 523 0428 or John Harden on 0161 969 7137 (day or eves) or post a message here. No previous marshalling experience necessary - it's a fun day out!

Right, so far we have Steve Wilkie Tony Murph Me Dave Hunt 3x BAE chaps from Warton Ron (definitely maybe!) Geoff Maine (just maybe) Our Jim (hopefully) and that seems to be it at the moment. I reckon we need around a dozen people to keep an eye on things so let's hope we get some more interest shown. Maybe there'll be some more offers of help once the Bulletin goes out (hint, hint Sprintman ;D ) Not much more info yet, looks as though we are the first test of the day, first car around 10.00 packing up at 12.00 ish, then if folk want, they can nip across to Blackburn with Darwen Services on M65 to see the afternoon runs in the AutoSolo that Dave & I were supposed to be competing in!
