Once again, we are helping Knutsford Motor Club with their classic Tour of Cheshire that takes place on Saturday 6th March.
This well supported event will start from Rally HQ at The Wild Boar, near Tarporley & for 2010 the rally route is reverting to being mostly in Cheshire with a foray into North Wales. Judging by the organisers comments it's going to be fairly tough on the crews!
We are running two tests at "our" normal site of Chowley Oak (just off the A41 South of Chester) but this time we shall be one of the last venues before the cars return to Rally HQ at the end of the event.
Therefore, expect signing on to be around 14.00 with the first car sometime around 16.00 & the last car an hour or so later.
As soon as the times are confirmed, I shall post them here. (See below)
If you are interested in helping with the Chowley Oak test on this excellent classic event, please contact John Harden (yes, your Chairman gets everywhere!) by posting a message on this forum, or send a message via:- www.liverpoolmotorclub.com/contact-us or phone John on 0161 969 7137
Previous experience is not necessary; our duties are fairly easy, setting up the venue (cones, tape etc), timing the cars through withordinary stopwatches this year (looks as though theyve had a change of heart & we are back to using Liege clocks) and checking that everyone follows the correct course, without hitting any cones - just like an AutoSolo! Then it's just a matter of packing up & going home.
As it's an afternoon job, the "the LMC crew" could meet at a pub for lunch before going on to Chowley. Let me know if this is of interest to you.

They have64 75 confirmed entries already.
After the event there will be a guest speaker at Rally HQ to entertain you while the results are computed and all marshals are most welcome. In early April KDMC will also hold a Marshals' Thank You evening in Knutsford to which all are invited.
