Hi Sean Welcome to the forum Whilst on track you must have your arms and legs full covered, sorry no shorts. Off track not a problem. It is detailed in the acknowledgement (4th paragragh headed "Equipment Requirements" 1st page) that was sent to everyone who booked.

As a competitor for over 30 years (old lag!?) I would recommend wearing clothing which keeps your arms & legs covered properly (eg elasticated wrists & ankle cuffs ie overalls) AND gloves as if you spin off & get stuck in 'the rough' you won't get stung by nettles etc, should you have a more serious incident then you are protected from pieces of broken glass and other nasty bits in the car! Trust me I've experienced both of the above at trackdays & competitive events! On one occasion I hit the Goodwood tyre wall at 55mph & punched a hole in the plastic dash with my (gloved) hand! I just suffered a bruised hand! The 'discomfort' of wearing 'hot' clothing is far outweighed by the advantages - after all, how long are you in the car for??
