had a coffee in the golf clubhouse at lunch today and could not help noticing the large amount of swifts/swallows and house martins flying down the track. i remember a few years ago they caused havoc with the timing equipment. i was on the startline that day and saw a time of around 20 seconds come up for an MG midget!!!! see you all there and hope its a dry day all the best from Doug Gorge.

Doug.....who's warming the tyres on Saturday? I deffo don't want Apus Apus chasing the insects again if it's a hot sunny day. It was an absolute nightmare last time trying to keep track of re-runs and re-runs of re-runs after the little blighters were breaking the beam. Having said that, they are pretty spectacular to see swooping across the golf course.
