There are still places available at Aintree. Despite the closing date having passed we will accept entries up to mid-day on Thursday the 27th. However, it will have to be via our secure on-line pay and enter system, to be found at www.liverpoolmotorclub.com/ai...ints/to-enter/

108 entries for the Sprint at Aintree tomorrow. Weather forecast is fine too, so it looks like being a good event with plenty of variety of cars on track. Weather for setting up this afternoon is far less appealing though - I think we are going to get rather wet :-(
Ah well!
Please be aware that the refurbishment of the golf centre cafe is running very late so the facility is likely to be closed on Saturday. However, Marie is still selling sandwiches pies, hot & cold drinks from a mobile unit next to the single seater paddock. Unfortunately, there'll be no cooked breakfasts or other cooked food (or chips) as there are no cooking facilities in the temporary unit. I doubt that alcoholic drinks will be available either - but then drivers & marshals shouldn't be drinking alcohol during the day so that's not a problem ..... is it?!!
(The marshals buffet is being served in the pavilion at lunch time as normal)
See you all on Saturday! :-)

I would like to say thank-you to Liverpool Motor Club and everybody that made the sprint event on the 29th June a perfect day. Each time my BTEC Level 3 Motorsport students attend your track events, they come back with a wealth of knowledge which does help them with their course. Tameside College will be looking forward to attending the next sprint event on the 7th Sep 2013 and future track days with a new intake of Motorsport students. Many thanks to the marshals around the track who help make these events save to attend.
