Sat 1 Dec. 11.58: drama from the off, as always, two retirements already. Car 7 Tony Brooks/Simon Harris and 52 Eve Lemke / Willi Potjans. Car 13 was late starting due to an electrical fault but now believed to be running. All making their way from Bodmin Moor to the lunch halt at Eggesford.

Beetle of Edward & Robert Kiff are lying 1st Overall TR4 of Tony Shiach & Richard Lambley 2nd Overall BMW 2002 Tii of Andrew Lane & Ian Tullie currently 3rd Overall Porsche 911 of Hug/Vanoli retired due to rear brake caliper failure. Sunday 2nd Dec 04:20 Black Ice, Rain, 2 inches of Snow - what else can be thrown at the crews? Oh yes very hard navigation! 1st - Kevin Haseldon / Mathew Fowle 2nd - Tony Shiach / Richard Lambley 3rd - Edward & Rob Kiff But that must have changed overnight
Sunday 2nd Dec. 08:30 What a night! Some crews have only just arrived at the overnight halt, having been stranded in snow and/or black ice for several hours. The closing car failed to negotiate a steep slop due to ice and could not retrace their steps off the mountain due to snow! overnight top three are: 1st - Kevin Haseldon / Mathew Fowle Mini 2nd - Andrew Lane / Iain Tullie BMW 2002 Tii 3rd - Robert & Susan McClean Rover P4 100
