Well it was the same old faces on the podium, Alonso, Schumacher and Raikkonen whilst Button struggled into third. Raikkonen's race from last on the grid was superb however Niko Rosberg was an astonishing points scorer on his GP debut. I might just watch next week's race now!

I think Button was fourth But apart from that it was a great race even qualifying was interesting.

It was a good race but will this be ths ame old same old for the season?
I would like to see Button come of age and take Alonso and Schumacher all the way this year.
F1 has in my eyes neverbeen the same since senna died

Mind you after Rosberg's debut race we may have another Superstar on the scene.

No complaints from me. Admittedly only 1 race so far, but potentially wider open than ever:
Any 1 of 4 drivers could easily win. Only needs a minor development, but of luck, strategy etc to tip it & I wouldn't write off Button just yet - he's blaming clutch for start & did have to pass Montoya twice to get the 4th.
Any 1 of 4 manufacturers could easily win - that one will probably come down to reliability & the number twos.
First few rows within a few tenths in qualifying.
First 10? cars home on the same lap - has that happened in living memory?
Raikonen passed 19? cars, Rosberg did lots too, plenty of midfield stuff & nothing wrong with the Schui/Alonso move at the final stop.
I honestly don't think it it either ever has been or ever will get any better than that. Let's face it, at its very best it's still a very poor substitute for having any sort of go yourself. Come the first event I'm sure there will be a number of us who will regret watching telly when we should have been fettling our cars - memo to self: new nose, engine swap & rolling road all needed in next 5 weeks.
