Those of us between the main gate & start didn't get to see any of the action unfortunately, so Ta for the photos Steve. With 48 cars entered, just 24 got as far as us at Hoscar, which was after just one day! It'll be interesting to see just how many cars actually got to the finish today! The low numbers are a real shame as in its heyday, there had been well over 100 starters, though I admit not for a few years now. I wonder if it's getting too expensive at around £2250 for a car & crew of two? The fact that so many foreign crews are taking part (the majority of cars that got to us were foreign entries) is proof that the exchange rate £ to Euro favours the foreigners & makes this a relatively cheap rally for them to enter.
