This is well worth knowing Roy. I heard a similar story from one of our Track Day drivers yesterday. He'd been trying to get a basic cage for something Japanese that's not normally imported into the uk, and was about to give up & order a cage from Japan when he found that Rollcentre would do him one at just over half the price of an import.
Does yours go through the vents at the ends of the dash, or does it leave the dash intact?

The roll-cage I've ordered fits without cutting the dash or anything other than the carpet! It has a fixed diagonal which excludes use of the rear seat (but at my age I'm past that anyhow - I prefer comfort!), but they are available with a removable diagonal.
I wouldn't feel comfortable thrashing down Railway Straight at well over 100 without a cage , race seat & six point harness!
The L200 was touching just over 95 at the end of RS on the trackday & hopefully the cossie will be a tad quicker!

Update on the roll cage - I spoke to the Roll Centre yesterday (Mon 8 Jan) and my cage is being delivered this week - Pretty good as I only ordered it on November 20th!

Just to update for anyone interested..... The roll cage was delivered by courier the day after being told by the Roll Center that it was ready! It arrived well wrapped complete with all necessary nuts, bolts & reinforcing plates etc. One and a half hours later it was job done! (admittedly I already had all the seats out and the bottom half of the dash due to fitting a new wiring loom). It is a really snug fit, allowing about 2cms gap from the dashboard and 1cm clearance from the head lining (which I had to remove temporarily to fit the cage!); the door bars are shaped to the contour of the door pockets so they don't rub there either. I was pleasantly surprised a few days later when I noticed that I hadn't been charged for it until the day it was dispatched! I've even managed to fit the rear seat in it's normal position - just a squeeze of 2 or 3 cms on the side of the cushions - so at least I still got somewhere for my sarnies & cans (John H will know what I mean from the Auto Solo!). An extra bit of a bend on my mates tube bender to the front roof rail allows me to open the sunroof as well! I'm now looking forward to Aintree (didn't say which meeting though!).
