Please read S9.1.7 to see if you do need a log book If you do, it should be no problem on the day as long as you contact the Chief Scrutineer before the day to arrange and have the required photos available.

The Scrutineer on the Regs is TBA for Aintree on the 30th April............do i need to provide photos or are they taken on the day by the Scrutineer? What Info will the Scrutineer require?..............i could get away with not having one as it is a circuit race car but to avoid any confusion i will try and get it done.

Ian I was speaking to Chris M last night and he tells me that Scrutineers are no longer able to do Log Books on the day of the event as they have to be applied for at least 24 hrs before, he will be at Three Sisters on the 17th April, I will Email you his contact details but i will also send you a one a little closer to you and you already have the details of the championship scrutineer ( who often in Wales) in the regs for the championship It is always better to take your own photos as per the Blue Book just in case he/she does not have a camera to hand. If you are only competing in speed events then you will definitely require a Log Book

If you email or ring him and ask the question I am sure that it would not be a problem He is quite amiable these days. You will have to arrange with Longton so as to get the car etc in to the paddock.

Ian Ian. After you have had your car registered by the Scrutineer, rather than Spectate why not Volunteer to Marshal Trackside and be closer to the action, I am sure that Paul Hiles the Chief Marshal would welcome you. Sign on is usualy from about 8am to 9-15am, I myself either will or should be there as a Marshal. Pete, L M C Marshal's Coordinator

No problems about never having Marshalled before only one flag in use, the Red One (Stops the Session) not like Oulton Park with 6 Flags plus 2 Boards, Hazard and Safety Car. Pete.

I think it might have been around £30 last year, you will have to ask Chris

When I had my Elan log-booked I arrange with the Scrutes to pop along to Three Sisters and they did it without any trouble. They will want to leave the process until all the competing cars have been scrutineered which will mean that once practice is underway they will want access to the car. This may mean marshalling will be out of the question as you need to be present. Take your cheque book with you as that is the preferred method of payment.
