Evening All Could any-one please explain corner weights and what I need to do. I've read several articles and bought Allan Staniforths book "Competition Car Suspension" but still can't seem to grasp what is needed. The car is a bike engined Lotus 7 Clone. the weights on each corner are F.R. 115 Kilo, F.L. 125 kilo, R.R. 130 kilo, R.L. 160 kilo Totals Front 240 kilo 45.28% Rear 290 kilo 54.72% Left 285 kilo 53.77% Right 245 kilo 46.23% I understand I have to reduce R.L. which will add weight to the F.R. What I would like to know is there an ideal percentage split front to rear or do I have get the left and right to balance Hope this makes sense regards Tony

Did you ever get any closer to sorting out your Corner Weights query? I'm definitely not an expert, (far from it) but I would have thought that to start with you need Fr L & R weights to be identical with the driver aboard, and similarly side to side at the back. Other than that, its all gobbledygook to me! Surely there's someone out there that can help folks.
