Hi
I received the 2009 regs this week - nice one, very prompt - and was reading this morning the championship class structure for 2009
I have a couple of questions (I dont have a blue book yet for 2009 so apologies if its all in there)
Class 3 - modified limited production and specialist cars.......given I have been running in 3b for the last 8 years, does this mean I am now going to have 2L westfields with slicks in the same class as me in a modified shopping car (seat ibiza)?
Or are we going to have classes for sportscars and saloons separately as I have heard rumoured?
Any guidence much appreciated
Ta
Rob

Hi Rob, The Classes listed in the regs are the categories/headings as listed in the 2009 Blue Book and in the latest 'Motorsports Now'. The actual splits within those categories will be the same or similar to those listed in the 2008 Aintree sprint regs. The only change is that we will be adopting the new structure and regulations from 2009 and not waiting until 2010 when it becomes mandatory. If you require any more info please ring me or email direct, details in the Championship regs.
