For the benefit of anyone else reading this thread thinking of bringing two cars, we can usually accommodate participants if they wish to use the cars alternately, as long as both cars run in the same group. eg, you run both cars in Group A sessions. However, if you intend running one car in Group A, and the other in, say, Group B then we would be looking for two booking fees as effectively you'd be getting twice the number of sessions, which wouldn't be fair on everyone else! Best thing to do (like burge124 has done) is to talk to us & we'll see how we can help!

Had a great day marshalling however the tidying up was tough. I would like to thank the driver's who reduced the straw bales to their component parts - it took a lot of tidying up. There were some interesting cars on view - I especially liked Anthony Taylor's Chinook - anyone get any pictures?

I almost feel guilty for leaving 'early' from the track day - but I was under 'her indoors' orders to be home & ready by 8.00 for dinner with guests!!!
After collecting up broken bales at the last Sprint, I meant to bring along a couple of 'grass rakes' to aid in collecting up the straw - maybe a couple in the club kit for next year would be useful?
Another interesting day though & weren't we lucky to 'get away' with the weather - apart from that nasty shower at lunchtime - at least the incessant wind was fairly mild!

No need to "feel guilty" Roy, We wouldn't have been that long but for the bursted bales! A couple of grass rakes for 'collecting' broken bales is a good idea. I also suggested a tarpaulin to go over the trailer once it is fully loaded with straw - it would stop it blowing out! As for the wind - it was bitter rather than mild! ;D

no point in the tarp if we have a Bill to put on top!
I'd just like to point out that Roy was there a good half hour early so its not like he skieved off.
